Course Description
This qualification reflects the trade qualified role of a bricklayer, blocklayer or paver who may have responsibility for undertaking heritage bricklaying, refractory bricklaying, bricklaying, blocklaying and paving work in residential, industrial and commercial contexts, in both existing and new constructions.

Qualifications awarded by APEX will be recognised by other RTO’s Australia wide. Upon successful completion of the CPC33020 Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying, the students may continue their studies further by enrolling in the:
- CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction
- another qualification in the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package or a related field
Accreditation
Students obtaining a ‘competent’ result for all listed units of competency will achieve the CPC33020 Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying qualification. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to students who complete less than the required units for the full qualification.
APEX does not guarantee completion of this course.
The course will be available to those students who are 18 years or older and have completed Year 12. International Students are required to have an English ability at the IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
Although this qualification has no pre-requisites, students are required to complete the CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry unit prior to starting the course or within the first term of studies with APEX.- Bricklayer, Blocklayer, Paver
